Originally graduated as a mathematician, and has decades of experience in the field of taxation and financial issues. From 1991 until September 2001 she worked at the Income Taxes Department of Ministry of Finance, then she was the senior manager of the tax advisory business of Deloitte until August 2004. From 2004 she returned to the Ministry of Finance, first as a chief department head, then as vice secretary of state and secretary of state in charge of taxation issues. Her publications and lectures cover the fields of tax and financial regulation, and the relevant EU norms.

She is a certified management consultant, CMC, and she is the member of the Hungarian Association of Management Consultants. She has many years of experience in business consulting, with special focus on strategy development and efficiency improvement.
